with stories targeted by my search history.\u00c2\u00a0 I truly believe that those of us that live in today&#8217;s great information glut need ways to filter irrelevant chatter and focus on meaningful news, so, with great hope in my heart, I waited as you generated a custom list of news items relevant to me and my interests. <\/span><\/p>\n<p><span>What would you find for me?\u00c2\u00a0 Exciting new developments in science, subtle analyses of the health care debate, new movies I might enjoy, book reviews&#8230;<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><span><a href=\"https:\/\/i0.wp.com\/johnnylogic.org\/images\/googlerec.jpg\"><img data-recalc-dims=\"1\" loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter\" src=\"https:\/\/i0.wp.com\/johnnylogic.org\/images\/googlerec.jpg?resize=438%2C426\" alt=\"\" width=\"438\" height=\"426\" \/><\/a><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span>Erm.<\/span><\/p>\n<p>Now, I would like to apologize for providing any search terms that confused you into thinking that I care about news items involving Octomoms,\u00c2\u00a0Jon Gosselin&#8217;s &#8216;bachelor romp&#8217;, or Project Runway.\u00c2\u00a0 I am pretty sure I have never searched for any of these terms before, or their components, so\u00c2\u00a0perhaps\u00c2\u00a0you\u00c2\u00a0weight popular news items too heavily, or you need some time to get to know me better.\u00c2\u00a0 After all, it took a while for <a href=\"http:\/\/online.wsj.com\/article_email\/SB1038261936872356908.html\">TiVo to correct it&#8217;s gaydar<\/a>, so maybe you need time to see that I am not\u00c2\u00a0a B-list celebrity gossip-maven.*<\/p>\n<p>In any case, please stop bringing these, or similar items to my attention.\u00c2\u00a0 If I wanted this sort of crap, I would just visit\u00c2\u00a0TMZ\u00c2\u00a0.\u00c2\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>Thank You,<\/p>\n<p>John<\/p>\n<p>* I recognize that there\u00c2\u00a0are interesting results in revealed preference and neuro-economics that show that people\u00c2\u00a0sometimes do not admit to, or even appear consciously\u00c2\u00a0aware of, their behavioral preferences.\u00c2\u00a0 Despite this, I can only hope\u00c2\u00a0these results are\u00c2\u00a0due to your poor performance, rather than some penetrating look into\u00c2\u00a0some unknown abyss\u00c2\u00a0of my
